Natural forms! :)

From looking at Saul Leiter, Richard Page, Thomas Joshua Cooper and Ernst Haas, all of them combined to help me look at all the different element forms of photography such as texture, tonal, lighting, composition.
I felt like all of these photographers would help relate my focus on natural forms :) by me looking strongly at each section. However I like how all these pictures can strong define the idea of texture, however still involving each of the other sections. :)
Aim to take a number of photoshoots to define what my intentions are :)

Conceptual Conclusion :)

Paper Ideas!! :)

Ideas of whys you can use paper to creating art in the style of Peter Callesen, which zoe showed me.
I was interested in how he created a number of small sculptures using paper.

Before I begin this project properly, I decided to look into some artists in more detail what interested me.
Tom Phillips, looked at the text that was created on paper and selected random or relavent words of which he felt could completely change what the story would be able. Also creating interesting background in which to surround the words he had selected, and make it a more visually interesting piece.
From inspiration, I decided to conduct my own version of his work as I am strongly interested by what he has created. Looking at my own piece to his it makes me feel like I'm creating my own story by selecting words which will make sense/ a pattern to the piece.

Rachel Whiteread's work is extremely awesome!!
The idea of her going around and pretty much saving houses that are about to be demolised is amazing. She took everything out of the house and filled it all up with cerment making the house more historical, however annoynous to the people who have previously lived in that building. I was really inspired by her work for my conceptual project because of her recreating the house; it creates a abstract however visually interesting piece to look at because of the detail attached to the cerment. :)

Concept madness!

http://overwatchreport.com/issue/the-overwatch-report-september-2011/article/edc-every-day-carry-what-s-in-your-pockets
'Your EDC or "Every Day Carry" is the equipment that you carry with you EVERY TIME you leave the relative safety of your home - this includes firearms, edged weapons, impact weapons, chemical (OC/CS) irritants and neuro-muscular disruptor weapons (Stun Guns / TASER). Your personal EDC also includes personal survival kits, combat style flashlight or mini maglight, sunglasses, cash/credit cards, wrist/pocket watch, cellular phones, paracord "survival bracelets", snack foods and water. Your EDC needs to be small enough to carry with you at all times where it can be concealed (weapons concealed only where legal to do so) - it needs to be lightweight and should be legal to carry'

The concept of what idea can turn into complete madness when every day valuables and object that mean a lot to you turn into the idea of safety. And the idea of carrying more safety items around with you instead of personal objects gives off a false reflection of a person personality.

Concepts confusion!

The idea of concept and how it can make you think more of why you are creating something and the idea behind it.
Like time!
The idea of how why do we feel like we were in locations recently when in fact it's been a year.
The question of why do we feel like time is going slower and faster different days.
Is time constructed or is it abstract.
These are question I'll have fun trying to figure out like time may go faster or slower depending on what activity you are doing across that time which could help indicate why the speed of time has changed.
Talking about time has made me feel and time about time in a way I didn't usually. It makes me want to look more in depth to discover the idea of time or is everything like Steve says is just in 'pockets of space'

Photography Week :)

I went around college collecting a number of images which were involved with my surrounds. I sat on the floor of the corridoor (I got a large number of funny looks) although I wanted to show how many similar and different faces share the same surrounds as myself.
After half an hour of people being normal or realising I was there and reacting to my camera.
From having a nice chat to my tutor I had to try and capture more detail of people's faces.

That had to be the hardest task ever..
A large number of people just covered their faces of walked quick with didn't help me at all.
I went back to my tutor and I wasn't to happy with my pictures they were all either blurred or rushed..
I thought of a great idea to take images of my actual surrounds such as family members, friends and my work friends.

Work images were fun to capture without getting sacked, but lucky my boss was more than happy to pose for me and them pictures worked out loads better.

Photography Week :)

I was given the task to take a number of pictures over the summer holidays of things I found interesting in the North West.
I choose Alcohol and how supermarkets and bar are in a competition with each other to create more sells and that I am continuously surround by alcohol.

The project was hard to capture the images, however I would probably ask the supermarkets and bars for further images like this one I have captured to show my theme more. :)
